Using Resin Clasps
The picture above shows the steps to take to produce a neat
secure finish with the clasp.
There are three parts to the clasp: 2 end pieces and the
screw insert.
- Through
one end piece thread your cord, with a suitable sized trimmed knot, so
that the knot nestles inside the end piece.
- Check
to see that the knot does not pull through.
- Add
your beads to your desired length and design.
- Thread
the other end piece on and holding it firmly against the last bead or knot
and insert the screw insert. As you screw this in it will tighten the
cord.
- Once
it is in, cut the excess cord with a sharp blade (scalpel, craft knife,
razor blade etc).
